Terms and Conditions

1.Please note that a 50% deposit is required within 24 hours of the booking being made to secure your booking, and the balance payable on arrival when checking in. Deposit payments can be made via EFT or credit card, the details of which to be forwarded to us for confirmation. Credit card details may also be forwarded to ourselves for processing of payment through our Autolink machine. Deposit payments not made within 24 hours after a booking is made will cause the said booking to be cancelled.machine.

2. Check-in begins at 14:00 and closes at 21:00, unless arranged otherwise with Management prior to your visit, and check-out is promptly 10:00 the next morning. Day visits are not permitted.

3. Breakfast is served between 07:00 and 09:00 and dinner between 19:00 and 20:30. Alcohol may be served with dinner on request, however no alcohol is permitted in guest rooms.

4. Shoe cleaning and polishing service offered free of charge for all Familia guests.

5. Any personal belongings left in our rooms will be reserved for a period of one month, whereafter they will be given to the local charities.

6. Any damages or theft incurred by our guest house as a result of guest negligence will be accounted for by the guest, within good reason.

7. Bookings cancelled prior to the day of the booking will be entitled to a full refund, while bookings cancelled on the day of the booking but before 12:00 will be entitled to a 50% refund, and bookings cancelled on the day of the booking but after 12:00 will not be entitled to any refund of deposit paid.

8. Familia Guest House is an environmentally friendly establishment, hence smoking indoors is not permitted, however our outside patio is ideal for this purpose. We also kindly ask that sound levels be kept to a minimum to ensure adequate rest and relaxation for all our guests.
